Last night I received a call that was both sad and a relief. The man I posted about earlier had died from a long fight with cancer. I was sad because I knew the loss that we would all feel, and it was a relief because he was not able to do much in these last days.
I spent several hours in his house with family and just sat there. No words of wisdom offered just being there and caring.
Please pray for me as I prepare to do his funeral this weekend.
