Just Say No

I am not sure if you remember the ad campaign about drugs, the "just say no" campaign? Well I think there is some validity to that statement. Let me explain.

In the little book of Titus chapter 2:11-12 it says ¹¹For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. ¹²It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, (NIV). The creators of the campaign were right, we do have to make the choice to say no, but we can't and shouldn't do it on our own. We have a choice to say no to the things that tempt us and to say yes to being godly in this present world.

So what is your choice today? Will it be life or death? (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)
